NASD Fines Sanford & Bernstein in Conflict-of-Interest Case
At a combined $550,000 ($350,000 to Sanford itself and another $200,000 to besmirched analyst Charles Hintz) these would be the largest fines thus far levied in response to the NASD's newish C of I rules that took effect in July 2002.
